About Me
Hi, I’m Bárbara Malagoli :)
llustrator, Mentor, Educator and Director!
With over 15 years of experience in the field, I have collaborated with clients such as Apple, Google, Facebook, Nike, The New York Times, LA Times, and The Washington Post, among others.
My career spans both in-house roles — including Abril Publishing, MTV, and Studio Colletivo —
and more than a decade working as an independent illustrator with clients in Brazil and internationally.
I am currently the Director of the Master in Illustration Program at LABASAD (Barcelona), where I designed the curriculum and mentor students from around the world, guiding their projects from concept to professional positioning.
I also teach illustration workshops at Intuit Lab Paris,
committed to nurturing creativity while maintaining high professional standards.
Before titles and clients, I was an artist navigating creative uncertainty, transitions, and the search for clarity.
That lived experience shapes the way I create and teach today m
combining artistic depth with structure, strategy, and long-term vision.
